A Leap of Faith!
Nine years ago this month, I took a giant leap of faith. I got my Florida real estate license. Who knew where that would take me?! In 2013, after having moved to Florida from Nova Scotia, Canada, I was bored. I had semi-retired and was loving my time at the beach and on my yoga mat, but there was something missing. My daughter Maddison was going into high school at the time, and I decided I wanted a new challenge.
At the suggestion of my friend, and Realtor® Lisa Barton, I took the plunge. I had some previous experience with investment properties, and my prior careers in business development, public relations, sales, and economic development had provided me with an array of skills. But nothing can fully prepare you for a career in real estate!
The last 9 years have been a blur. So much fun, so much success, so much stress, so many late nights and early mornings, so many crazy moments and so many great memories created. The people I have met along the way have shaped so much of my life to date. I have so many wonderful clients that I now call friends, a fabulous team around me that have been together from the beginning, and the support and love from so many.
But the truth is this…if you find something you love, it is never too late to turn it into something that fulfills you and gives you something to be grateful for. Thank you to all who have been part of my journey.
