Ponte Vedra Beach is an amazing place to live. With its fabulous weather and lifestyle, Ponte Vedra Beach attracts new residents from all over the country. As a real estate team, we get many calls from people moving from out of town asking about what it’s like to live in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The Yards, a golf, pickleball, and tennis club, centrally located right in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, captures the essence of the PVB lifestyle. We met with Anna Washington, Director of Sales; Zach Vinal, Director of Golf; and Maria Nili, Director of Pickleball to tell us more about The Yards.

The Yards has a 12-hole golf course which has become a more popular concept in the last few years. Zach tells us this design is based on what’s around their location in Ponte Vedra Beach. Because our area is surrounded by serious golf, with many traditional golf options, The Yards wanted to create a very different experience. They wanted their golf course to be inviting for women and juniors, as well as to have participants “understand that there's more to golf than just 18 holes.”

Maria Nili describes the club as “really special because it can provide and offer the full experience.” She stated that no matter what your plans for the day, maybe golf in the morning followed by a date with a nice drink, or a game of pickleball or tennis, “you can do everything right here at the Yards.”

In addition to golf, pickleball, and tennis, The Yards has a new patio pavilion that can host events or gatherings from 20 people to 300 people. It goes perfectly with golf and pickleball tournaments.

Zach noted, “it really is awesome to see the full family component.” He believes that families are the reason The Yards works so well. He describes the club as having a big city vibe with a small-town feel.
