What’s New in Nocatee?
We recently talked to Kelly Ray, Director of Marketing for the PARC Group, to get the latest scoop on what’s new and what's news in Nocatee. We asked the following questions:
Approximately how many houses sold in 2016?
Almost 1000 new homes sold in Nocatee in 2016. At this point, there are over 5,500 families living in Nocatee.
How many neighborhoods are there now in Nocatee?
There are 29 neighborhoods in Nocatee (we include the Palms Townhomes as a separate neighborhood), 20 neighborhoods are actively selling new construction homes and 9 neighborhoods have already sold out.
What new amenities have been added in 2016?
The newest addition to Nocatee’s award-winning amenity offerings is the Spray Water Park, which is due to open in 2018. The land and construction of the amenity is a gift from the Master Developer, The PARC Group. This four-story high, interactive spray park will include a large sundeck area, food court, and bar. A large outdoor area located south of the Nocatee Swim Club will be developed to host events held currently at the Town Center, such as the Nocatee Farmer's Market and Roscolusa and the Nocatee Drive-in Move Nights. This new space is more than twice the size of the current event area and will include a new band stage for concerts and expanded parking. We're expecting this area to be completed by Summer 2017. Here's a video describing the new additions.
What's happening in the Town Center?
There were also a significant number of Town Center additions that opened in 2016, or are planned to open in 2017.
It’s hard to keep up with all the recent developments in Nocatee home sales. Our team is listing and selling in this area all the time and we are still surprised by the pace and change Nocatee is experiencing.
Our most recent search of available homes turned up 350 homes for sale at a median listing price of $399,920. The range in price points of homes for sale in Nocatee makes the area accessible to both first time home buyers as well as those with a larger budget. There are also good options in Nocatee for families who are looking to downsize. There are so many choices in Nocatee it can be mind-boggling for buyers.
