Persistence Paid Off, Publix is Coming to Palencia

Publix has executed a 20-year lease to anchor The Palencia Commons shopping center in the same location that Food Lion previously occupied. The re-design will include 45,600 sq. ft. of space and is scheduled to start early 2017, and will be ready for shoppers by 2018. For years now, the Palencia residents and nearby retailers have specifically asked for a Publix, I think we can all agree that they deserve every bit of the upcoming supermarket!

The new Publix will be located at 7458 U.S. 1 North in St. Augustine.
