Discover Ponte Vedra - Local Public Parks
What many people may not realize about our area is the number of fabulous public parks that are available. These parks offer numerous activities including nature trails, farmer’s markets, children’s playgrounds, and sometimes, even docks for paddling. In fact, right in our backyard are four excellent parks to visit – Settler’s Pond in Nocatee, South Beach Park with Sunshine Playground and Cradle Creek Preserve in Jacksonville Beach, and Jack Russell Park in Atlantic Beach. Each is unique in what it has to offer, and our team members all have their favorites!
Lisa Barton, team lead, enjoys visiting Cradle Creek Preserve in Jacksonville Beach. This hidden gem is home to 43 acres of mostly undisturbed land along the Intracoastal Waterway. This park has parking upon entry and offers a series of elevated boardwalks and wide pathways leading back to pristine views of the marshes and tributaries of the Intracoastal.
Marsha Keller, Broker Associate with the Lisa Barton Team, shows the many amenities of South Beach Park in Jacksonville Beach, including the fabulous Sunshine Playground. This park offers a wide variety of activities such as tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball courts, exercise stations along a fitness trail, a large skate park, and more.
Suzanne Layser, Sales Associate, highlights the best of Settler’s Pond in Nocatee --- one of her favorite spots to visit via golf cart. This park is one of the latest additions to the Nocatee Park System and spans 14acres. Amenities include a lakefront pavilion, large playground, and dog parks.
Sean Muserallo, Broker Associate, enjoys Jack Russell Park in Atlantic Beach. This welcoming community park is very event-, sport-, bike-, dog-, and pedestrian-friendly. There are a wide variety of activities to enjoy in this park nestled near the 5-point intersection of Seminole Road including a weekly farmers market, playgrounds, skate park, and ball fields.
