Atlantic Beach Urban Farms is located right in our Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville Beaches area and supplies many local restaurants and families with fresh produce, particularly leafy greens, using an aeroponic growing process.

Tracey Westbrook, the founder of the farm, was inspired when she went to visit a friend with a rooftop garden in California. She realized how much potential there was to grow fresh produce with limited natural resources. She transferred the concept to her own small, but mighty, facility located right off of Mayport Road in Atlantic Beach, Florida.

The aeroponic growing process helps conserve multiple resources that are often limited in urban areas - land and water. By utilizing these urban farming techniques, Atlantic Beach Urban Farms is able to grow produce year round for restaurants and homes while conserving valuable resources. The entire growing cycle for these leafy products is about six weeks --- and starts with a single seed.

One of the benefits of living in Northeast Florida is having access to a healthy lifestyle. In Ponte Vedra and the surrounding beaches areas, we have fresh produce available all year long. Atlantic Beach Urban Farms is very involved in promoting aeroponic gardening and healthy eating in our community. They work with groups such as BEAM (Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry) to grow fresh produce for their clients as well as have numerous programs at local schools. It's even easy for you to have a tower garden right in your own backyard! Atlantic Beach Urban Farms offers services to set up and maintain your tower garden so that you can have a steady supply of fresh produce, at your fingertips, year round. It's truly farm to table!

Atlantic Beach Urban Farms offers a weekly market where residents and guests can select from a variety of the produce grown at the farm as well as other locally made products and seedlings. The farm is also set up to host your local group or corporate meeting, with a beautiful farmhouse kitchen and entertainment space available for booking.
