Baptist Medical Center Beaches 2023 Update

We were excited to join the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce for their annual “Beaches Luncheon” where the speaker was Jarret Dreicer, Hospital President of Baptist Medical Center Beaches. Mr. Dreicer gave us an update on the growth and status of the medical center.

Here, in Jacksonville Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach, we are lucky to have our own, local medical center and emergency room. Access to world-class medical providers is one of the often cited reasons of why people move to our area.

Baptist Medical Center Beaches is a 135 bed hospital with a newly renovated emergency room. This small but well-equipped hospital offers a very wide range of patient services including a recently renovated labor and delivery department, a cardiology institute, mammography services, senior health services, imaging and MRI services, and an expansive surgical (including robotic surgery) department.

Recently the hospital expanded its physician base by hiring five new practitioners. Their specialties include neurology, cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, and gastroenterology. For patients needing more extensive care Baptist Medical Center and Baptist MD Anderson are located downtown, just 20 miles away. 

In addition to the services offered Beaches residents, Baptist Medical Center Beaches is well respected for the quality of medical services and patient experiences. This year, the hospital has been highly rated by the following third parties:
