More than 40% of the entire development is set aside in its natural state, which is one reason that the World Golf Village received the Florida Association of Realtors’ 2002 Environmental Award. World Golf Village is expected to include 7,200 homes at build-out. The area is also emerging as a growing center of commerce.
In addition to the two golf courses, the community features the Swim and Tennis Center, with a clubhouse, a covered pavillion, swimming pools, lighted tennis courts and a fitness center. There are athletic fields, parks and playgrounds throughout and a world class PGA Tour Spa, LaTerra, with ultra-posh facilities and services. Residents also receive special membership incentives at the private, oceanfront Serenata Beach Club in South Ponte Vedra Beach. Within the World Golf Village, you will find other amenities such as an IMAX theatre, the World Golf Hall of Fame, putting greens, restaurants, shops, hotels and gourmet grocery shopping. Some amenities require memberships.
