The Ultimate Guide For Waterfront Dining!

Posted on by Lisa Barton to Around Town, New to Jacksonville

Having a hard time figuring out dinner plans this weekend or maybe you're looking for a great place to have brunch?

Whether it's brunch, date night or just a nice evening out with the family, look no further! The crew at The First Coast Register has put together  the ultimate waterfront dining guide  that covers St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach, Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach and Fernandina Beach. There is nothing better than indulging in a delicious meal while enjoying a beautiful waterfront view. The best part about waterfront dining is ditching the car for the night and jumping in the boat. The majority of these restaurants have deep-water access and free dock space to tie up.

I have dined, multiple times, at 9 of the 13 featured restaurants and I have to say, all 9 were nothing short of amazing! Waterfront dining in St. Augustine includes Cap's On The Water, Kingfish Grill, The Conch House, Beaches at Vilano, The Reef, Aunt Kates, Saltwater Cowboys and many more that weren't featured in this publication. You can enjoy waterfront dining in Jacksonville Beach at the newly opened Safe Harbor Seafood, or you can step it up a notch and indulge in a 5-star meal & specialty cocktail at Marker 32, just over the Beach Blvd. Intracoastal Waterway Bridge. If you prefer to head south to Ponte Vedra Beach, the American Gator Club is delicious, located at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort. If you're looking to get away from the Jacksonville Area, head over to Heckscher Drive where you can find the Sandollar Restaurant & Marina. If you're in the area of Fernandina Beach, you can dine with a beautiful view at Brett's Waterway Cafe or Sandy Bottoms Beach Bar & Grill.

No matter which one you may enjoy this weekend or later down the road, we hope it is everything you wished for...and more! For more information on these featured restaurants, follow the link below!
