The University of North Florida Will Surprise You
If you haven’t been to the University of North Florida (UNF) campus lately, I think you’ll be surprised! Located in Jacksonville, just north of JTB between Kernan and St. Johns Bluff, it's perfectly situated next to the shops and restaurants of the St. Johns Town Center. Several new buildings have been added over the last couple of years, including the Library, Coggin College of Business, and the College of Education and Human Services building. The education building is the first to receive the distinction of certified LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Buildings are nestled among trees, with lakes interspersed and paved pathways meandering between buildings. It really has turned into a beautiful campus. If you’re looking for something different to do, visit campus on a weekend, and take the nature trails back through several miles of conservation land. Keep an eye out for alligators!
UNF has programs available for a variety of knowledge seekers – from full-time students to life-long learners. Take a few minutes to browse their website and learn what UNF has to offer.
