The Prius is the Perfect Car for a Real Estate Agent
Last month I purchased a Toyota Prius and I couldn’t be happier. I’m averaging 48 miles a gallon and can fill the 11 gallon tank up with regular gasoline. Believe it or not, the interior is roomy and I can comfortably fit 4 adults in the car. When I’m working with a family or a larger group of people a bigger car is necessary, but usually I’m showing properties to only one or two people. I did purchase the navigation system and the blue-tooth capability--essential tools for any real estate agent. The car also has a back-up camera which projects onto the navigation screen. Very cool!
Don’t get me wrong, the Prius isn’t nearly as luxurious or as responsive as my other car (a BMW 745i) and the Prius certainly doesn’t have the WOW factor that comes with a luxury sedan. However, Jacksonville is one of the biggest cities in the United States and in my real estate activities I average 2000 miles of driving a month. The sheer economic advantage of a hybrid was too good to pass up. Also, since driving the Prius uses less gas and produces fewer toxic emissions, it’s also a good way to reduce my carbon footprint!

Very cool-----a Realtor that respects the environment and does a great job!! I’m driving a Toyota Camry Hybrid and absolutely love it----but I’m only averaging about 37 mpg city/hwy when driving very conservatively. These cars are the wave of the future----kudos to you.
