Insight to Real Estate News in Jacksonville & Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

The Power of the Blog…a Post About My Interview with Zillow

A couple weeks ago Drew Meyers from GeekEstate, a department of Zillow.com that offers technology, news and tips for real estate agents posted a blog interview with me Website Design and Redesign. Drew and I discussed the issues I encountered and how I dealt with those issues in the design of my website. Believe it or not, another blogger, Robert Hahn, Vice President of Marketing for Onboard Informatics, saw Drew’sarticle and posted his own comments. This is what Robert had to say about my site: Unity of Content: Unsolicited but Free Advice

I think Robert’s comments, for the most part, are right on target. I am planning on adding new content, especially in the area of statistical information and dynamic content. Keep in mind the site has only been “live” for about 6 weeks. While I appreciate Robert’s advice for ways to become a “true local expert”, I don’t think I’ll be including all those suggestions. Some of them are simply too time consuming. While I am committed to providing my customers with detailed information about what it’s like to live in Ponte Vedra Beach and the Jacksonville Beaches area, restaurant reviews for beaches establishments won’t be coming anytime soon. I have to confess I smiled when he referred to my “website design team”. My team consists of Jon Livingston who is the website designer, my part-time assistant Heather, and my husband. My husband is on the team by default, although his insight has been really helpful! We usually have our meetings around the breakfast table.
