The quarterly sales meeting for Prudential Network Realty was held this past November in the community clubhouse in Nocatee. Wow, what a beautiful building! Prudential's agents had a chance to hear from the developer of Nocatee about the growth and changes in this new community. Our speaker was Rick Ray, who's a managing partner for the Parc Group. Rick emphasized his company's "back to the basics" approach to real estate development as being important in the success of Nocatee's sustained growth.

The Parc Group's philosphy includes the following values:

  1. Build community amenities as promised. Have you seen the Splash Water Park and Fitness center? The facilities are amazing and definitely add to the quality of life for residents of Nocatee.
  2. Complete the master infrastructure throughout the community. I believe this is a "if you build it, they will come" philosophy. The roads in Nocatee are almost complete and ready for new residents.
  3. Build the Nocatee extension from State Road 210 to State Road 1. That $55 million dollar project is completed (almost 10 years ahead of schedule). It's a great resource for homeowners in Nocateee and also for Ponte Vedra Beach residents who are traveling west to Jacksonville or St. Augustine -- and it's never crowded!
  4. Build new communities to meet the market demand. Two new communities have begun in Nocatee: Kelly Pointe and Greenleaf Village. Both Kelly Pointe and Greenleaf Village offer moderately priced homes (starting in the $170,000s) - perfect for the cost-conscious buyer.

Despite the difficult economy, home sales have increased dramatically in Nocatee. Last year in 2010, Nocatee had 165 homes sales. Compare that to this year  (November 2011) where there have already been 300 closed home sales. Exciting news!
