Insight to Real Estate News in Jacksonville & Ponte Vedra, Florida
February is Florida Hiking Trails Month
The Florida Times Union ran an interesting article on local hikes this morning. One is right down the road for those living in Ponte Vedra Beach.
The Moses Creek Conservation Area can be found on Florida 206 between Route 1 and A1A, just south of St. Augustine. The Moses Creek Area has three interconnected trails ranging in length from a bit over 1 mile to about 4 miles. Of the four hikes featured in the Florida Times Union, this is the only one in which water-resistant shoes are recommended and small children are discouraged due to the length of each of the trails. One of the trails ends in an observation bluff over the tidal creek. Terrain ranges from wooded to open and is one of the last undisturbed tidal creek areas in Florida.
So, enjoy the mild weather and the last of the mosquito-free days before summer begins and take a hike in a local, beautiful location!
