About Lisa Barton
My lifetime of experience with Florida is grounded in my early childhood as the daughter of a professor at the University of Florida (UF). I grew up in Gainesville and then attended UF where I graduated with honors in 1986 with a B.S. in Psychology. I continued my studies in Psychology while living in Washington, D.C. and graduated with honors earning an M.S. in School Psychology from George Mason University.
My background in psychology taught me the importance of developing strong relationships and earning a solid reputation through quality professional service, personal accountability and always delivering as promised.
I’ve transferred those same lessons into my approach to real estate. All inquiries are returned promptly, my listing presentations are thorough with detailed market analysis to support my pricing recommendations, and I launch a well planned marketing campaign with each new listing. I am an excellent listener and I truly value my relationships with my customers and I find that these relationships last far beyond the real estate transaction.
I returned to Florida in the mid ‘90s and renewed my love affair with this beautiful state. I have a genuine enthusiasm for the natural beauty of the area and for the wide variety of opportunities here. I will share that knowledge and passion with you. I have lived all over the Jacksonville area, refurbished and renovated countless homes, and directly experienced what the different areas of town offer. As my own children have grown, I’ve been an active volunteer in numerous school systems. Both buyers and sellers will benefit from this experience. In addition, my numerous professional and social contacts are an asset to my customers and I can answer almost any question you might have about living or moving to Jacksonville.
My real estate credentials include a large number of very satisfied customers, and professional accreditations including: Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate, Senior Real Estate Specialist, e-Pro graduate, Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and membership in the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service and the National, State and Local Associations of Realtors.
